Cabin on Mistletoe

Great proximity to Blue Ridge Parkway if you enjoy hiking. So many hikes within a short drive.
Also an easy drive into Blowing Rock for restaurants and shopping.
Boone is nearby with loads of restaurants and retailers for anything else you might need.
We ate breakfast and dinner on the back porch to enjoy the view. And the cool air!

Our stay was good. We came here 3 yrs ago and wanted to come back for our Anniversary. Some items you might want to consider:

#1 When we pay for sheets the beds should be made. I paid for them so I did not have to make a bed after our drive there.
#2 Both times here the porches were not blown off. #3 The porch below could use some furniture.
#4 You need more lights main floor in bedroom, kitchen and living room area.
#5 The last thing people want to do on vacation is worry about the garbage. The dump close to us was 20 min. The one that was closer was closed.

This home is very attractive and comfortable with well stocked kitchen with appliances, utensils, cookware, plates/glassware. The management company was very responsive and helpful with an excellent cleaning team. We had a wonderful holiday with family and would definitely rent again. Great location to hiking trails and Blowing Rock.

Absolutely loved staying here. Very clean home with everything you need. Only regret is it is already booked next year the week in October when we come so now we have to find a different place.

This was our second visit to this cabin and it is perfect for our needs. The place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Jenkins management was very responsive when we had an issue, and it was quickly resolved. We have recommended this cabin to our friends and hope to visit again next year.

Outstanding! We had a great week! There was an issue with the cabin and rental management came to the issue immediately and resolved the issue after hours. I cannot say enough about the outstanding effort of the management team. They stand as role models of what customer service is all about!

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was unexpectedly spacious and incredibly clean. Not just floor vacuum clean, more like someone had walked around and been meticulously dusting too! Definitely would stay there again. The view of the sun setting behind the mountain (Grandfather?) while eating dinner was a bonus. Pretty pottery and dishes, large selection of books and games.

We were just four miles from Blowing Rock, so we felt far enough away from everyone and could appreciate the mountains, but close enough to experience Blowing Rock town and attractions. The cabin was cozy, and the owners had thought of everything we might need. We have already recommended it to our frineds and will be renting this cabin again next year.

We love this comfy cabin! It is outfitted with everything you need except food & beverages! We have really enjoyed taking out of state guests to this spot to enjoy all there is to do in Blowing Rock and the beautiful mountains.

Great location and home. Home is well appointed and the included "directions" from the owners was super useful. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a home away from home. Great neighborhood, right off the Blue Ridge Parkway, 10 minutes from town but it felt like much much more! We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. Exceptionally clean, well furnished and kitchen exceeded our expectations. All the little touches that make a good vacation stay seem great. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.

I thought our summer vacation was great, but autumn at blowing rock in this cabin was even better. This is truly a comfortable place to stay. And the view with the leaves just starting to change was beautiful! We cannot wait to come back!

This was a perfect house. I liked the bedroom layout, folks had plenty of privacy and space. The view from the covered porch was amazing! Very comfortable, and super convenient to downtown Blowing Rock. We cannot wait to come back

We were so grateful to call this home for 3 months over the winter! The home was clean, cozy, and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable and having 2 dens was a treat with dogs and teenagers. The sunsets from the upper deck were beautiful over Grandfather Mountain. I would definitely recommend this property for a weekend or a longer stay!
