Chetola Juniper #8

Needed a place to stay while our house was being renovated. Had a great time in this unit. Great location, clean and responsive service.

We’ve stayed at Chetola many times. This Unit is in a great location in the Resort. It was also priced fairly. But it’s clear that the owner of the Unit has not done anything to update or even maintain it. Master carpet was very dirty (I had to vacuum upon arrival), old dysfunctional window treatments (I had to hang a blanket over the windows to keep out the light), paper thin sleeper mattress (I had to buy memory foam), crumbs in the sleeper, no peeler in kitchen, no extra garbage bags or laundry detergent (had to buy both). Balcony furniture old and wobbly. The Unit has much potential, but only if the Owmer cares to maintain and update it rather than treating as a solely a maximum revenue-generating rental.

My stay was very disappointing. The unit did not sleep and was anything but "luxury." The pull out couch did not only pull out, but caved in when a guest of mine sat on it! My friend had to sleep on a blowup mattress. The condition was old with no nice amenities. Furthermore, it was not very clean. Fortunately, the Jenkins manager provided me with a partial refund the I decided I could not tolerate the condition. The refrigerator sounded like a Mack truck and they know when they rented that it needed to be replaced. Sad, sad experience.

This condo is great. Right on the trail to Bass lake. A very nice walk to the lake and the beavers were working away every day. The Chetola resort has a really nice quaint bar and an adequate restaurant. Everything is secure and safe. It's only a minute drive to Blowing rock downtown. This is absolutely our favorite place to stay! We are already booking our next trip. Jenkins was very efficient for booking, check in and check out.

Our stay was extended for four months. We felt very comfortable and the unit was well equipped and enjoyable. It could use some updates but that would not stop us from returning.

My wife and I wanted to get away for a few nights and we love the Boone Blowing Rock area so we started looking online for somewhere to stay. We were having a hard time finding something and we remembered that we had used Jenkins before so we went to their website. We found one place in Chetola which was exactly what we needed a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo conveniently located in Blowing Rock. We had an awesome weekend. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and felt like home while we were there. We really enjoyed our time there.

Jenkins Realty was very helpful in securing a last-minute rental so that I could extend my stay at the beautiful Chetola resort. The unit was cleaned pursuant to Covid standards and we had a terrific time. The staff at Jenkins Realty was very accommodating.

Everything in this condo was great, easy access(no steps) clean and well keep except the patio furniture was old and weather beaten. The location was just steps away from the tennis courts and a short walk to the walking trail and bass lake.

The condo was very clean. The only thing is the kitchen could use a few more pots and pans. Overall we enjoyed our time there.

Check in and check out was a seamless process through Jenkins Rentals. The unit was clean and the location was close to downtown. We will surely stay here again in the future.

More than two would probably be a bit crowded. The house was pleasently furnished. The kitchen could use additional pots and pans. Also the lighting in the living area and bedroom is very dim making it a challenge to read, do a puzzle, knit, crochet, etc. Darkening shade would be an asset to the bedroom since the room receives the Early morning sunlight. Addressing these suggestions would make the property even more desirable and enjoyable for guests
