Journeys End

We enjoyed our family vacation.

I had originally booked to stay at another rental property Jenkins had, but they called and said the hot water heater busted so I'd have to pick another property to stay at. I was pretty bummed about that and they didnt offer a discount for inconvenience or anything. In fact the other properties cost more so again no price match or discount. To save on a headache and move forward with our vacation plans we ended up here at Journeys End. It was a nice and cozy place. The location was perfect for our vacation. Close to not only Tweetsie Railroad, but to great restaurants and stores to get our odds and ends we needed. We had no trouble finding the place and no issues with neighbors or anything. Other than a few dead bugs around, a few webs and spiders that weren't cleaned, we have no complaints.

Just 3 miles of Hwy 321 in Blowing Rock we found our “Journeys End”. We entered the home into mountain warmth. So nice, cozy and inviting. We spend Thanksgiving there for a week. Kitchen was big enough for 3 preparing dinner, no issues. All kitchen supplies you could ask for are there. Great dining area for 6. Ah yes then the living room with cathedral ceiling, wood burning fireplace snd comfortable furniture all made for a relaxing atmosphere. All 3 bedrooms come well decorated with a queen size bed in each. Outside offers privacy via woods with wild life just yards away. Seeing deer each day made you reflect on natures calling. We all were more than pleased with this rental and you will be too !

We loved this home. It's well stocked with all the comfortable items (blankets, beds, sofa, chairs, etc) one would need. Super close to App Ski. Jenkins was so supportive and we will stay again!

Our rental has been a blessing.

House was smallish but perfect for a family of six Tastefully decorated and would rent again only concern was: it was advertised as 3 queens. It had 2 queens and 1 double.

Great house, very warm and inviting. Would stay there again!!

This was our first trip to this area and we had so much fun. The cabin we rented was to celebrate my sons 21st birthday and we invited some of his friends along. We had a great time, the cabin was clean and had everything needed down to the coffee pot. We saw deer and and squirrels right in the back yard. The small town was nice and had everything you needed, but 10 minutes down the road in Boone had all the chain stores of needed. Highly recommend Jenkins Rentals for your next vacation rental.
