Appreciated the garage. Had a small glitch with the locks which was resolved by Property Manager. Best was that I was able to escape another hot summer in a hot city.

We have stayed at the Little House three times and will continue to go back. The location is perfect and the house is always neat and clean.

The accommodations were thoughtfully arranged and very stylish. The convenience to town is a big plus. Blowing Rock also added a sidewalk all the way up to Bass Lake so getting in your morning walk or run is super easy.

This home is welcoming and is very well appointed. Our family loves staying here when it is available to rent.

The check-in process was flawless, and the house is adorable and spotless - just as pictured. We walked to dinner each night. The fenced-in lot was great for the dogs. The people booked before us didn't clean up after their dog, so we did it for them. Don't understand some people.

My little family recently enjoyed a comfortable stay. Check in & out was very easy and property was well equipped and convenient to town.

What an amazing week in a place we hold dear to our hearts. This gem of a house is impeccably clean, stocked with all you need and located in the heart of town. We had the best week! So relaxing. Perfect weather-even some snow! A fabulous fire pit, gorgeous gas logs. It was a cozy vacation that we enjoyed immensely before the hustle of the holiday season hits! We will be back. We absolutely love staying at Little House on Main! It is beautifully decorated and has a spacious living room and kitchen area. We weren't at the house long enough to really enjoy the firepit and yard area, but we will next time! Let's talk about the front porch...that was our favorite thing about the house! It's the perfect spot for morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. The house is the perfect location for walking to shops and restaurants. We loved it and will be back soon!

Unfortunately we arrived during the worst of Hurricane Helena and the staff at Jenkins were all trying to just secure and clear their own homes so the house wasn't available to us. I don't even think there was any power. Jenkins was wonderful about issuing a full refund. I am giving all of the questions 5 stars. We have stayed with Jenkins many times and they have always been great.

The Little House on Main was even better than the pictures. We would definitely stay again. We love that everything in town is within walking distance.

Step inside Little House on main and you'll feel like you are inside a magazine. Every inch of this cottage is oozing with style. Just steps from the best dining Blowing Rock has to offer and a stones throw from the best hikes in the Blue Ridge. There is something for everyone in this sweet town.

Second time guests at the Little House on Main. We will continue to come each year as it’s perfect for 2 families with little kids. Love the fenced in yard and gated porch to keep little ones in. The bunk room is perfect for a fun sleepover that our boys loved! Gas fire place makes for cozy nights in and walkability to breweries, restaurants and shops makes getting out easy!

The house was renovated well, with attention to detail making this vacation a great experience. Location is perfect if you are spending quality time in town, and with most everything in walking distance, it was great in the snow.

This was our 4th stay at LHOM and it was perfect! We stayed 5 nights and had a ball. Sat out every night on patio with a roaring fire and festive lights,cooked on the gas grill,and enjoyed every minute. The house is well stocked with towels, kitchen needs,and even a gorgeous bar!The best part is the front porch and the gas fireplace in living area. We will definitely be back several more times in 2024. Our Blowing Rock home away from home!

We loved the location of the Little House on Main. The accommodations and front porch setting were perfect for our family of four. We were fortunate to find an opening in availability for Labor Day weekend and would consider making this an annual tradition.

this is not your typical mountain rental- no knotty pine etc... its modern, tasteful & comfortable! Great find w a great location!

The Little House on Main was fantastic for our family of four! The decor is so well appointed and the house itself is very liveable. We loved the fenced in yard and the kitchen and living area were wonderful.
We have been coming to Blowing Rock for over 30 years and renting in town, so we could walk to the park after dinner every night was a treat.
Unfortunately, the communication with Jenkins Realty could have been better. Once we booked last September, I received little to no communication unless I reached out. They were prompt when I emailed or called, but it would have been nice to even have a prepared email sent prior to arrival and departure, to remind us of details. They also did not notify us of the major restaurant renovation right next store, which was surprising. The owners were very focused on making our stay the best possible and did acknowledge the construction, for which I was grateful.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this house!

My 2nd time staying at this house. Always the cleanest, nicest house. We were in town for birthday celebration. Little House on Main is the perfect house for a group of girls or family. House is fully equipped. So close to everything! We didn’t move our car until we departed. House is beautiful and a must stay if in the Blowing Rock area. The brick parking area and flagstone patio around fire pit, is a nice addition.

We had a wonderful stay. The home is decorated beautifully and in a great location for walks to shops, restaurants, coffee and breweries. We came with another family and the home was spacious for 4 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog! We enjoyed the front porch swing and warm electric fireplace. I hope there will be an addition of a hot tub on the patio they are currently constructing- that would make this adorable cottage even better!

We loved the week we spent at the rental titled Little House on Main. The only suggestion I have is to put a film on the glass front door to where you can see out but someone outside cannot see in. Also need something similar on the back door glass.Also please check the utensils in the drawers because scissors and a couple of the spatulas in the drawer were dirty.

A girls reunion to the high country! This house was clean, equipped and beautifully designed. We loved the inside and outside fireplace/pit. We said several times that we would be back to stay in this rental. The ladies at the reality company were super friendly and welcoming. Thanks Jenkins!

Four first grade friends met for an unforgettable visit to The Little House on Main. The decor and quality of kitchen equipment and fine linens made it exceptionally pleasant. The location is perfect. We walked to and from dinner two nights of our stay. It was absolutely perfect for a fabulous trip to the beautiful NC mountains.

I relaxed in a beautifully appointed home in a convenient location. I love being able to walk downtown and to Bass Lake.

Six long-time, post-menopausal women really loved staying here. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. It's within walking distance of all the shops. We all enjoyed a cocktail (or two) around the firepit as well.

Loved this house in a great location- the best! House itself is very comfortable, all aspects. Kitchens great as is the yard and the beds. Love that the decor is not mountain-y. White walls w interesting artwork. Jenkins realty people are lovely and nearby. Love it, coming back next year!

What a great house with nice fenced in yard. I felt very safe staying alone. Beautifully decorated . Only drawback is the steep gravel driveway that is right on the Main Street and the steps to get into the house. So not a good place for anyone with a handicap or elderly. Getting your car out of the driveway is a challenge watching for traffic to pause but most people are very courteous. The fire pit bowl was full of water with no drainage but the rental agency said they would fix that and I’m sure they did ...Stephanie was a great rental agent ... very responsive to concerns.

This house has it all. It is not your typical short term rental. The owners have stocked it with high quality equipment, appliances, linens, furnishings, and a fun, casual outdoor living space. The decorating is peaceful, relaxing and attractive. The beds are comfortable, and you sure can't beat the location in walking distance to all of Main Street and other side streets. Loved it!

This was a our 2nd stay here in this property. It was wonderful the first time, and has now been upgraded and enhanced even further. It's close to downtown shopping and dining -- and yet far enough away for those quiet moments (morning coffee or evening drinks on the front porch). We look forward to our future visits.

I felt like we stayed in a beautiful showcase home. The furnishings were stunning and the location was perfect for our needs. You can easily walk down Main Street to shops and restaurants. It’s a small home that has a larger home feel. The only issue we had (other than not getting to stay longer) was that one of our guests was elderly and walks with a cane and she needed assistance coming and going because of the steps and slope of property. I would definitely stay there again but not with my elderly mother.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Little House on Main. It was cozy and nicely decorated. It had many great amenities (nice linens and towels, well stocked kitchen). The kids loved the bunkroom, and we enjoyed spending the evenings around the fire pit. We were able to walk to restaurants, shops and the park. We especially loved the fenced in yard for our dog.

We had the most glorious weekend in Blowing Rock! The weather was outstanding and our time at the Little House could not have been more pleasant. It was my second visit to the Little House and I can’t wait to go back. It is so charming and so comfortable, also immaculate! We even built a fire in the fire pit Saturday night after dinner at Best Cellar!

This house is in a perfect location to walk to all of downtown Blowing Rock. It has a very cozy atmosphere and great outdoor areas for relaxing with family and friends. The only thing I would change would be to add a mirror in the front queen room and a small dresser and mirror in the bunk room.

We were acquainted with the former owner of the "Little House on Main" (LHM) and, so, had a sense of just how lovely her tastes were in interior design. We were not surprised at how beautifully appointed was the LHM. Warm and inviting, we enjoyed mornings sipping coffee on its front porch (watching Blowing Rock's busy life awaken and pass before us) and then spending the waning hours of daylight sipping wine again on the porch (observing Blowing Rock's eventual slide into evening). The LHM's location at the edge of Blowing Rock's "downtown" was actually more appealing to us than other rental options as it was close enough to walk to town for everything (breakfast, lunch, dinner and shopping) - and yet located sufficiently back off the road so as to assure us its privacy from those walking and driving by. Comfortable, quiet, open, and well illuminated naturally during the day, we loved our stay here - and can't wait to return!

We had an excellent week in BR at beautifully renovated and decorated Little House on Main. A couple of suggestions: More hangers in closet, trash bags, and ensure outside trash cans are picked up.

Our family enjoyed staying in this house very much. It is decorated so well which was a real treat.
The location is excellent. We enjoyed walking downtown for our Grandchildren to play in the park . We all enjoyed going in the stores on Main Street.
Nighttime dining was nearby and excellent.
The kitchen was well equipped which made meals easy to get together. We certainly recommend The White House and hope to stay there again, and often.

This house is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is brand new, very beautifully decorated and very clean. It is in a great location, right on the corner of Main Street in downtown Blowing Rock. Walk to everything very easily. We enjoyed using the fire pit and the layout was perfect for our family. We can’t wait to come back!
